Uplift: New cadet college to be established

A new cadet college will be established in Topi, Swabi

SWABI: A new cadet college will be established in Topi, Swabi. This was announced by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.

He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering at Gadoon Industrial Estate in Swabi on Saturday. According to Qaiser, the new cadet college will focus on enhancing technical education.

“It will have a hospital and a variety of modern facilities,” he said. “Our government has allocated a significant amount of funds for the construction of women’s college in the district.”

Qaiser added they have also allocated funds to set up Gajju Khan Medical College and Women University Swabi.  “Funds have also been earmarked for developments in health, irrigation, agriculture and communication sectors,” he added.

According to Qaiser, the construction of Gajju Khan Medical College will help improve health facilities in the district. Efforts are under way to establish a cadet college for women in Mardan. Last week. A joint team must be constituted under the chairmanship of Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Muhammad Atif Khan to select a site for a cadet college for women in Mardan.
