After lending his voice to the hit track Ae Kya Bolti Tu in his 1998 film Ghulam, Aamir Khan is set to work his magic again by turning a rapper for his upcoming movie Dangal.

The filmmakers have confirmed that apart from singing, the PK star will rap for an upbeat track composed by Pritam and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, reports Hindustan Times.

Aamir Khan's transformation for Dangal proves he's a perfectionist

The 50-year-old actor, who will be seen as legendary wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, practised singing for two weeks before recording the song.

It seems that he is all set to give a tough competition to Salman Khan, who not only played a wrestler in Sultan but also crooned a few covers of the blockbuster.

Ambitious: Aamir Khan wanted to do 'Dangal' at 60

Aamir plays both the younger and older characters of Phogat in the film. He had put on up to 95 kilos to play the older part and brought it down to around 70 kilos.

Earlier, sharing details about his upcoming film, Aamir said, “The poster narrates the story of the film."

“It’s about this man and his four daughters. I don’t believe that women have to go easy or reduce their femininity to be strong. Only their hair is short and it’s from a practical point of view of wrestling,” he added.

Dangal is slated to release on December 23.
