Court takes notice of Shahzain Bugti's 'protective custody'

QUETTA: Balochistan High Court has issued notices on Thursday to provincial government on application of Shahzain Bugti and his brother Gohram Bugti against restriction imposed on their movement.

Shahzain and his brother have challenged the imposition of restriction by the Balochistan home department under article five of Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance (MPO). Their movement has been restricted to Quetta only under the MPO.

Balochistan High Court,  Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mengal after preliminary hearing issued notices to the provincial Government for February 7 for filing their reply.

The court has also directed the government and the police for filing a written explanation for not allowing the family members of Shahzain to go to Dera Bugti.

Earlier, Bugti had been arrested when paramilitary troops recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from his possession. After his release, he announced holding a long march for the rehabilitation of the people of Dera Bugti who were displaced during a military operation.

Shahzain had announced his decision to begin the long march at Dera Bugti after he was released from a Quetta jail. His aim is to seek the rehabilitation of Bugti tribesmen who were forced to leave Dera Bugti during the military operation against the late Nawab Akbar Bugti by the then president Pervez Musharraf.

Haris Khoso | 13 years ago | Reply Salaam, I Hope everything just goes Right for My Baloch Brothers & other Muslim Brothers Aameen. The Problem is We See things with Our Perspective, if I,m a Major I have My own way of Judging the Matter & a General has His Own Perspective. I can Never Judge & feel the Matter like a General Until I Become One, what that means is that We try to see & make Decisions on someone's Matter without knowing the Pure Reality ( not the One Heard ) & without evening Possessing the Knowledge of how to go about it. Its Easy to Hear & See that Army took Control of the Wealth of Balochistan from So & So Tribe, & declared this Wealth as being of Complete Pakistani, & We become Happy & say Of-Course it is, that is because Army hasn't Captured Our Property & By Allah When it Will We,l come to know How the Others were feeling. Most of Us dont have Sardari Nizaam & We know the Fact that they r Bilinear's most of Us Get Jealous & when knowing that they still need more We get more bothered by this thinking, & start saying so & so about them. If the Oil is Found in Ur territory No One's Father is the Owner, Except the Owner & it is His will what to Do with the Wealth, Period.... Allah Knows best wether Balochistan is or Isn't Part of Pakistan, We haven't seen any Documents otherwise so to Proof. & If it Was or it Isn't Army & Pak Gov should Sit & Talk with Actual Baloch Leaders ( not the Puppets ) & as Pak Gov has done alot with Baloch Brothers it should talk to them in a Manner that makes them Feel that Army / Pak Gov is Guilty on the Behalf of those people who did Wrong & should Come in Terms with the Baloch leaders except Balochistan leaving Pakistan, other than that ( The Property Belongs to Baloch & U giver Us a Package instead of Pak Gov giving them a Package ) it can Work out only When U give Real Respect. I,m a Baloch & live in Karachi & Love all Muslim Brothers but Definitely My Baloch Brother a More Near to Me but Natural.
