Chapli Kababs are a popular dish made from mutton or beef, but we don't seem to serve them enough on Eid, and that is why we put them on this list. While they are best served with fresh raita and hot nan, other ways to serve them include making chapli kabab sandwiches or using the kababs as burger patties for a localised version of a hamburger. There is nothing more delicious than a plate full of your favourite biryani. So this year, when you serve biryani, don't serve with it regular pieces of meat - make it interesting - give it a twist. Make your biryani rice and serve it with tikka chicken, fish or beef! It’s the best way to reinvent a classic dish, one of the most loved delicacies in South Asia. Here is how you do it!

Fry Kabab is generally a barbecue favourite; the aroma and smoked flavoured is not easy to resist. And when you couple them with parathas, your taste-buds are in heaven. So why not serve some of them goodness on Eid? Get the recipe here.

Loaded with spices, paya is the most popular dish in South Asia. The best thing about paya is that not only is it served at dinner but sometimes also at breakfast. People from every province like to eat it differently; some dip the bread in the curry, some soak the bread in the curry and eat with a fork, and some make it with bread! Either way - it is divine. Juicy, tender and moist, this oven roasted tandoori chicken had us at tandoor. Not only is this easy to cook, it tastes absolutely amazing. The best part is, because of the way it is made, it is not too spicy and can be served with nan, rice or fries for children too! Get the recipe here.

It is said that galawati kabab is a royal dish. Now, this isn't like any other regular kabad out there - smokey and fried - galawati kababs are unique mix of east and west. With a smokey western barbecue appeal to a tinge of local fry kabas, this qeema treat can be moulded into shapes for kababs and can even be filling for your samosas! Give this a short for your friends and family this Eid. Get the recipe here.

Ali | 7 years ago | Reply Like we died cause of hunger during ramazan. Ramazan is also just about food for us Pakistanis. Your headline sounds like you are happy that ramadhan is over. You dont have to write just for the sake of it, write things that matters and make sense.
Arshad | 7 years ago | Reply Nice recipes but please do note that not all are in keeping with the season and weather. For one, shahi gajrela is a misfit in July when carrots are not in season and the ones you get are a too tasteless. secondly, Fish too is a bit off season dish and the same goes for paya - too hot for it. these are all time hit dishes but not for every season.
