K* died on Saturday after reportedly falling from the rooftop of a ground-plus-one-storey residential house in Gul Goth, Sohrab Goth, within the limits of SITE Super Highway police station.  The girl’s family, which hails from Badin, had been staying at their relative’s house at Gul Goth for the last month.

The children were playing on the roof when a wall fell on them due to which K* fell while the rest were wounded, explained the victim’s maternal uncle, Nisar.

Rape case?

The body was taken to Civil hospital, where someone voiced that the girl was raped.

“The doctors in the medical report declared head injury as a cause of death,” said police officer Asmatullah Marwat. “However, the lady doctor neither confirmed nor denied the rape attempt,” he added. It would take another week to confirm the reports.
