Even though India continued with their golden run in T20 cricket after defeating Pakistan by five wickets in Asia Cup on February 27, Mohammad Amir was lauded by fans and experts on Twitter for his magnificent spell which exposed Indian top-order.

With a low target of 84 to defend, Amir got rid of openers Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane with a couple of in-swingers, leaving India at two for two at the end of the first over. He also dismissed Suresh Raina in his second over, giving Pakistan a ray of hope in what could be described as a bleak situation.

Ali ASHRAF | 8 years ago | Reply I am slightly disturbed to see the comparison of a cricketer by country of origin. Are we not talking like our politicians? We should judge a cricketer by his/her quality. I wish to be wrong in saying the extent of bias from some commentators of India, Pakistan and Australia praising their own players regardless of the situation or outcome on the ground. Let us appreciate the game of cricket.
