PALANDAR: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif linked entire Pakistan through motorways and he will also unite divided families of Kashmir, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said addressing a PML-N workers convention in the Palandri town of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

Rashid said that PM Nawaz Sharif will bring prosperity not only in the country but also in the region.

No province will be ignored in CPEC, says Iqbal

The information minister told the convention that PML-N would win the up-coming elections of the AJK legislative assembly. “The PML-N’s popularity graph was high across the country and AJK, from Karachi to Muzaffarabad,” he added.

Rashid said the incumbent PPP government in AJK was on its way out.

He said the successful convention showed that Palandari had become the city of PML-N. Similar workers conventions would be arranged in Rawalakot, Bagh and Muzaffarabad too and throw the current AJK rulers beyond Kohala, Rashid said referring to the town that lies on the border of AJK and Punjab.

He said the last PPP government had miserably failed to provide relief to Pakistanis and likewise its AJK government had also failed to deliver.

PM announces Rs250 million for AJK's development

The minister said the federal government had released Rs300 billion to the AJK government during last four and a half years. AJK has 10 districts and if the PPP government had Rs30 billion in each district, all towns of the area would have had modern infrastructure by now. But the AJK government had unfortunately spent nothing on infrastructure development and its rulers would be held accountable, he added.
