Delayed salaries: 100 dengue workers strike

They chanted slogans against the Punjab government, health department and the district administration

RAWALPINDI:


Dozens of women workers of anti-dengue campaign on Friday protested against delay in release of their salaries by the Rawalpindi district administration.


During a protest demonstration outside the Rawalpindi press club, they said they had not been paid for four months. They said the district health department told them that it did not have funds to pay them.

They chanted slogans against the Punjab government, health department and the district administration.
