UPPER DIR:

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MPA Sobia Khan has said politicians should focus on improving the quality of education in the province rather than holding protests.

She was speaking to journalists in Upper Dir earlier this week. “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken revolutionary steps for the betterment of the country,” Sobia said. “This has resulted in the restoration of peace and prosperity.”

She added, “Livelihood schemes have been initiated that have helped many young people. In addition, work on development projects has also commenced.”

According to Sobia, if PML-N seizes the reins in K-P in the 2018 general elections, the party will form a strong government in the province. “The nation will see Pakistan as a prosperous country,” she added.  Reiterating the importance of education, she said, “A nation cannot be financially strong without education as it plays a key role in making a country successful.” Sobia said the success of PML-N in local government elections in Punjab suggests people trust the policies introduced by the party. “The people of K-P voted in favour of PTI, but now they regret their decision,” the MPA said.
