1st Anniversary: PPP pays homage to APS victims

Children from Sweet Home, who hail from Swat and Wana, especially participated in the event

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari led an event to pay homage to the victims of Army Public School, Peshawar on Wednesday. On the occasion Quran Khawani was held at Zardari House. Children from Sweet Home, who hail from Swat and Wana, especially participated in the event. After the prayers, candles were lit in memory of the APS martyrs. A delegation of Human Rights Cell PPP, led by its central coordinator Dr Nafisa Shah, met Bilawal and presented him a report regarding human rights situation in the country. A team of PPP Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa also called on its party chief. The other personalities who were present on the occasion were ex-prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Sherry Rehman, and Qamar Zaman Kaira.
