Tragic end: Woman reportedly commits suicide

HARIPUR: An Afghan woman reportedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in a refugee camp on Wednesday. An official of Kot Najibullah police told The Express Tribune, “Twenty-five-year-old Khayal Bibi, a resident of Afghan camp No 12, was mentally disturbed for the past few months over reasons unknown.” He added, “On Wednesday, she locked herself in a room and consumed poison. Khayal Bibi’s relatives shifted her to Women and Children Hospital but she could not survive,” the official said.
