Murder: Policeman gunned down in Rawalpindi

A case has also been registered against the unidentified assailants

RAWALPINDI: A policeman was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Sadiqabad locality on Monday evening. Police said head constable Adnan Aziz was going home on a motorcycle after doing his duty at a bank in Banni police area when he was attacked by gunmen riding a motorcycle near Dhoke Kashmirian. He was killed on the spot. After the attack, locals called the police, who shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem. Police also recovered ten bullet cases from the crime scene and are on the lookout for the killers. A case has also been registered against the unidentified assailants.
