Search operation: Police, security forces arrest 60 suspects

KOHAT: At least 60 suspects and proclaimed offenders, including three Afghan nationals, were arrested in different areas in the outskirts of Kohat on Monday. The police and security forces jointly carried out a search operation in Qureshabad, Garhi Rauf Khan and City Phattak and nabbed 60 individuals including proclaimed offenders. Law-enforcement officials also seized weapons from the possession, which included two Kalashnikovs, rifles, seven pistols and ammunition. Separate FIRs have been registered against the accused and further investigation is under way.
