Violating rent laws: Hotel manager among three held
Details of tenants and clients should be provided to the police within 24 hours of renting out a property
RAWALPINDI:
Police have registered cases against three persons including a hotel manager for not providing information of their clients to the police. The Cantonment police raided Alam Hotel and arrested Kabir, Javed and Shaukat for violating the renting laws. According to a police spokesman, the cases have been registered under the Punjab Information of Temporary Residence Ordinance 2015. Under the law, details of tenants and clients should be provided to the police within 24 hours of renting out a property.
