Gunmen open fire on van in Essa Nagri, injuring technician
KARACHI:
Unidentified gunmen attacked a Dawn News DSNG van in the Essa Nagri area of Karachi on Friday, injuring one staff member.
Attackers riding motorcycles fired straight shots at the DSNG van, leaving the technician severely injured.
SSP East Javed Jiskani said the van was moving towards Hassan Square from Nazimabad when “four bullets were fired on the van, of which two hit the technician.”
The injured has been shifted to the Liaquat National Hospital.
Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal while taking notice of the incident, ordered additional IG to submit the incident report at the earliest.
