Balochistan operations: 13 suspected militants arrested

The militants were allegedly involved in different terror activities in the area

QUETTA: 13 suspected militants belonging to banned organizations were arrested in two separate search operations carried out in Tump area of Keach District and Pat feeder canal area of Jaffarabad district on Friday. Ten of the suspected militants were arrested during the search operation in Tump area of Keach District on Friday. According to Balochistan Frontier Corps Spokesman FC carried out the search operation, after receiving a tip-off, in Koharr area of Tump. “Ten militants of banned organizations were arrested,” the FC Spokesman said adding that weapons and narcotics were also recovered from their custody. FC recovered 1 RPG with rounds, 1 SMG with 7 magazines, and 120 kg of hashish. The militants were allegedly involved in different terror activities in the area. Meanwhile in a separate search operation by FC in Pat feeder canal area three more suspected militants were arrested.
