
“The provincial government will also ensure all basic infrastructural needs are met,” he added.

Abdul Kareem told industrialists that roads in the estate would be redone. Funds to set up the 132kV grid station and water treatment plant have also been allocated.
He praised the contribution of Hattar-based industrialists for contributing to the provincial exchequer and helping in creating employment opportunities for thousands of people.
Earlier, Malik Ashiq Awan and Malik Fareed, office bearers of Hattar Industrialists Association, briefed Abdul Kareem about the contributions of entrepreneurs to revenue. “It’s quite unfortunate that despite collecting Rs32 billion annually from Hattar Industrial Estate, the provincial government has not taken steps to improve facilities,” said Malik Ashiq.

He added roads in the estate were dilapidated, making it difficult to transport raw and finished material to and from the market.
