TIMERGARA:
A public liaison council has been established at Balambat police station in Timergara, Lower Dir to strengthen cooperation between the police and the public. The decision has been taken in accordance with directives from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police. The initiative was launched at a meeting held at the police station on Tuesday. The moot was attended by politicians and local government representatives. Timergara DSP Mohammad Tahir Khan was also present on the occasion. The DSP said the council was aimed at building trust between the public and the police. “A level of trust and understanding is needed to maintain law and order,” he added.
