War crimes: Resolution against Dhaka hangings

It states that executing those who believed in the ideology of Pakistan was regrettable

LAHORE: Leader of Opposition Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed on Monday submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly condemning the hanging of two opposition leaders in Bangladesh. Salauddin Quadir Chowdhury, leader of the Bangladesh National Party, and Ali Ahsan Mojaheed of the Jamaat-i-Islami, were hanged on Sunday after being convicted of war crimes. The resolution calls the executions “tragic, brutal and biased”. It states that executing those who believed in the ideology of Pakistan was regrettable.

Afrooz | 8 years ago | Reply at least our BD brethren are having the guts to go after radical islamists. Why cant we muster up the same courage? The mullah of lal masjid is getting primed to go crazy on us again. So much for the new laws - nobody is doing anything. Also why haven't our leaders protested with Saudi Arabia hangs our citizens at the drop of a hat? All paper tigers if you ask me
