The incident happened after the sunset inside a reserved forest, this is the active time for a big cat species such as the common leopard. Communities have been aware to avoid going out in thick forest at these times. More education is needed, this conflict is endangering leopard. Tribune you have put the photograph of a snow leopard, please change to the common leopard.
