Pakistan duo helped their team bag one-run victory over Sylhet

Pakistani bowlers off-spinner Saeed Ajmal and left-arm quickie Muhammad Amir guided Chittagong Vikings to a one-run victory over Sylhet Superstars on Monday in a Bangladesh Premier League match.

Amir, who is hoping to make a comeback into the Pakistan side soon, bowled four overs for just 19 runs including the last over in which he defended nine runs to win the match for Vikings.

He wasn't able to bag any wicket but he saw two run-outs in his over.





Ajmal, meanwhile, bagged two wickets in his four overs giving away 35 runs in the process.

For Vikings, Shafiul Islam, the man of the match, accounted for three batsmen leaking away only 25 runs in his four overs.

Earlier, Vikings were sent in to bat first by Superstars and they scored 180 for the loss of five wickets courtesy an Tamim Iqbal (69) and Yasir Ali's (63) fifties.

Yesterday, Amir nearly guided his team to victory over Rangpur Riders with career-best figures of four wicket in four overs giving away only 30 runs with a maiden.

He bowled Pakistan Test captain Misbahul Haq who was the man of the match and played an important 39-ball 61-run innings for the Riders.

 







And this how Amir rattled Misbah's off-stump.
