Bridal Couture Week unveils starry line-up

Around 28 local and international designers to show at three-day event starting Dec 11

Some of the country’s top designers are gearing up to walk down the aisle at the upcoming Telenor Bridal Couture Week (TBCW). After news that the bridal fashion extravaganza will take place from December 11 to 13, names of designers who will showcase their works this time have been issued. According to a press release, the 11th instalment will witness designs by a slew of local and international designers.

A total of 28 fashion designers will showcase their offerings at TBCW. Designer heavyweights Zainab Chottani and Fahad Hussayn will unveil their bridal collections at the event, along with Zarmisha Dar, Shazia Kiani, Saira Rizwan, Erum Khan, Mehdi and Humayun Alamgir.

Fashion designers Nickie Nina, Nilofer Shahid, Sobia Nazir, Honey Waqar, Sadia Mirza and, jewellery brand Damas are set to make their debut on the TBCW platform. Aisha Imran, Rani Emaan and Sara Rohail Asghar are among the relatively new entrants who will show at the event.

Also part of the three-day show will be international designers, Ziggi Menswear and Anees Malik. The upcoming event will also feature creations by Almirah, Maria B, Asifa & Nabeel, Hamna Amir Designer Jewellery, and Lajwanti.

PSFW 2016 to evoke marvel in March


Design houses Teena by Hina Butt, Saai by Saher Atif and House of Arsalan Iqbal will also participate at TBCW. HSY will choreograph the show once again this fashion season, as well as showcase his collection on the ramp. Hair and make-up for the event will be helmed by N-Pro and N-Gents.

The event will feature 32 female and 16 male models, who will walk the ramp for different designers. Celebrated film and TV stars have been roped in as showstoppers.

Bridal Couture Week soon to be back

TBCW, which is held twice a year, has become known for promoting Pakistani designer talent. The event will feature a separate section for aspiring fashion designers to present their collections on the runway.
