Road accident: Two killed, four injured in Swat, Jamrud

Both of them were left injured but Hashim died on the way to the hospital

At least two people, including a minor, were killed while four others were injured in separate road accidents in Swat and Jamrud on Thursday. In Swat, six-year-old Sadees was critically wounded when a speeding vehicle ran him over in Kanjo Township of Kabal tehsil. He was taken to Saidu Teaching Hospital (STH) where he succumbed to his injuries. In another case, a speeding van hit eight-year-old Ismail in Totano Bandai area. Ismail and three other passengers were injured. Separately, in Jamrud, a man died while another was injured when two vehicles collided on Thursday morning. “Hashim Khan and Shaukat were travelling in a vehicle when it collided with a speeding tractor on the Pak-Afghan highway in Wazir Dhand area of Jamrud tehsil,” an official of the political administration told journalists. “Both of them were left injured but Hashim died on the way to the hospital. The driver was unhurt.
