Finalised: Punjab to get cotton research station

The Science and Technology Ministries of both countries were working under a joint venture

MULTAN: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif gave approval for setting up a bio-technology laboratory with the cooperation of China, at Cotton Research Station (CRS) Multan. This was disclosed by Cotton Research Station Director Dr Sagheer while talking to APP here on Thursday. He informed that the provincial government has sent an approval letter to the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Science and Technology Ministries of both countries were working under a joint venture to establish bio-tech research laboratory for strengthening the agriculture sector in Pakistan. Earlier, the site for bio tech was not decided and now the government has approved the site at Cotton Research Station, Multan.
