NAUNDERO:

Villagers from Rahooja, Phulpota, Bhoonbhatpur, Izzat Ji Wandh and Naundero held a protest demonstration in front of a local Sui Gas office against gas load-shedding on Thursday.

The protesters arrived at Benazir Bhutto Press Club and shouted slogans against load-shedding in their villages and Naundero.

They complained that despite regularly paying their monthly bills, the gas pressure in their areas always remains very low.

The protesters told the media that their women were forced to cook meals over dung, bushes and burning wood, despite the fact that they are sent exorbitant monthly gas bills.

They alleged that this is being done to provide full gas pressure to the owners of furnaces business, which is unjust.
