Foiled: ANF recovers 1,135 kg hashish

KARACHI:
Sindh Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics to the city and arrested one suspect, on Wednesday. ANF officials claimed that they confiscated more than 1,000 kilogrammes of fine quality hashish, which is worth millions of rupees in the international market. According to the spokesperson, a team of ANF intercepted a Hino Truck near Bus Terminal in Yousuf Goth, Hub River Road, on a tip-off. The spokesperson said that the team seized more than a ton (1,135 kilogrammes) of hashish during checking.
