Armed robbers deprived two men of a vehicle and cash after kidnapping them within the New Town police jurisdiction. Anjum Hameed, a resident of Gilgit, lodged a complaint with the local police that four armed men kidnapped him and his friend, Abdul Haleem, in his double cabin pick-up (ICT-QD-293) from Commercial Market. They took them to Hassanabadal and deprived Hameed of his vehicle and Haleem of Rs49,000 in cash and two mobile phones.
The police have registered a case against the robbers.
