Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that it is too late in his career to make a move back into the English Premier League.

The forward added that he is not sure where he will be after he finishes his career at the French Ligue 1 club.

Ibrahimovic has been in the limelight whenever he has made an appearance for any club. He played for Malmo in his homeland, Ajax in the Netherlands, Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan in Italy, Barcelona in Spain and currently PSG in France.

Ibrahimovic's contract expires in June 2016 at the Parc des Princes. He has been linked with a move back to the Premier League but the forward believes he has no way back into the English top-flight.

"I think it is too late to come to England,” Ibrahimovic told the Daily Mail.

“I am very happy in PSG, I have my last six months and let us see what happens afterwards.

“I am enjoying it, I enjoy every day on the field. While I am playing at the top level I just want to join it and do my thing. I do not know where I will finish my career let us wait and see."

‘Magical’ Ibra

Ibrahimovic proved instrumental in helping his nation Sweden qualify for Euro 2016 on Tuesday night after the 34-year-old scored twice to secure a 4-3 aggregate win over Denmark in their play-off tie.

And when asked about how special it will be to play at the tournament in France next year, Ibrahimovic said: "It will be magic for everyone. And it will be a big magic for me to be there.

"I am looking forward to it. It is probably going to be my last tournament with the national team and I am very excited because before these two play-off games there was all this kind of talk that we were not able to beat Denmark. Now we are very happy and I am satisfied.

"I let my feet talk. I don't talk in public."

Sending Denmark into retirement

Ibrahimovic was said to hang his boots if Sweden failed to qualify for the Euro 2016 but the forward’s brace helped his team ease into the main round.

“They said they were going to send me to retirement. I sent their whole nation into retirement,” Ibrahimovic told Swedish television.
