Putting jokes aside for a moment to show solidarity, a group of Pakistani comedians have sent a poignant message to the people of France following deadly attacks in Paris claimed by the Islamic State.

In the aftermath of the attacks claimed by the Islamic State, Muslims around the world fear a backlash and increased inter-religious tensions.

However, the comedians pointed out in a video posted on their Facebook page that Muslim countries have suffered the worst terror attacks in recent years.

"As you all may know, on November 13, the French capital suffered barbaric acts of terror. And we'd like you to know that we're just as horrified as everyone else around the world...”

"We are completely praying for your safety and security. We actually are one of the few nations who completely understand what you guys are going through. Why? Because incidents like these are really common in Pakistan," they said in the video.

The video was shared over 80,000 times on Facebook.

Incidents like these are really common in Pakistan. "Less than a year ago, a school in Peshawar was attacked where over 130 children were brutally killed," one of the participants added, giving details of the attack which went down in history as the deadliest terror attack to ever hit Pakistan.

But the men could not keep their jokes at bay for too long as one of them said, "Trust me, the only time an average Muslim, is frustrated is when Nutella is out of stock." While some have been blaming refugees from Syria for the attacks, the video put forward a fact that would make them ponder.
