Attock lg polls: Over 1,400 candidates contesting
Total number of registered voters in the district is 1,076,686
ATTOCK:
A total of 1,415 candidates are contesting the local government elections in Attock district’s six tehsils and 71 union councils (UC). According to the district election, 212 candidates are in the run for 71 seats of chairmen and vice-chairmen. Whereas, 1203 candidates will compete for the 426 seats of general members. The elections campaigns were scheduled to end at midnight on Tuesday. Total number of registered voters in the district is 1,076,686.
