In the match at the LCCA Ground in Lahore, Test pacer Umar Gul took seven wickets for HBL to restrict Lahore Whites on 89 runs in the first innings while HBL were batting on 184-4 with Aftab Khan (72) on the crease.
At the Diamond Ground in Islamabad, unbeaten centuries by Umar Amin (133) and Asif Zakir (100) helped SSGC reach 271-3 at the end of the first day against hosts Islamabad.
At the Gaddafi Stadium, SNGPL posted 345-7 in their first innings courtesy Adnan Akmal (98) and Bilawal Bhatti’s (39) unbeaten knocks, while Aftab Azwar and Agha Salman took three and two wickets respectively for Lahore Blues.

UBL posted a total of 259 in their first innings with the help of Sharjeel Khan (73), Umair Khan (54) and Gulraiz Sadaf (50) at the Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad, while Sajjad Hussain and Nasir Awais took three wickets each. At the end of play, Hyderabad were on 17 with the loss of no wickets.
At the Jinnah Stadium in Sialkot, an unbeaten century by Aamir Sajjad (161) helped Wapda reach 350-7 against Fata at the end of the first day. Sajjad was accompanied by Zulfiqar Babar (39) on the crease.
Meanwhile, NBP reached 342-4 at the Pindi Stadium against hosts Rawalpindi, while KRL were restricted on 296, with Karachi Whites batting on 18-0 at the end of play.
