Tribal Uplift: Governor announces Rs1b interest-free loan for FATA

Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan said the provincial government has allocated Rs1 billion as interest-free loan for the people of tribal areas. He was addressing a 150-member tribal jirga in the city on Saturday. Representatives from different tribal agencies from Fata attended the meeting. He claimed funds worth billions have been allocated to initiate projects in education, health and economic sectors to improve the living standards of tribespeople.
