Be it the story of friendship in Sholay, the historical love saga of Mughal-E-Azam or the superhero world of Krrish -- Dubai's Bollywood themed park aims to animate Hindi films through live performances, taking Hindi cinema to a whole new level.

Consequently, a search for a variety of performers has begun. Bollywood Parks Dubai, in association with Indian entertainment company Wizcraft, will scout for over 200 performers, including dancers, singers, actors and acrobats, when it opens its gates in 2016 for its live entertainment shows and Bollywood musicals.

The casting hunt will provide a huge platform for entertainers to take their talent across borders, allowing them to showcase it to the millions of visitors that the park is projected to attract.

Entries for casting call are open till November 22. The theme park will also be on a lookout for additional talent for other parks.

Wizcraft will identify the talent from among the entries registered online. The shortlisted artists will later be auditioned in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Dubai by a panel of experts. The chosen artists will be signed as performers for the musical, as well as be considered for the park's daily live entertainment shows.

Thomas Jellum, general manager of Bollywood Parks Dubai, said: "We want to showcase the very best of India through music, dance and culture."

The park will feature cinematic rides and attractions and entertaining live shows that bring to life the action, music, dance and drama of Bollywood. Visitors will experience bold action, colourful story-telling and captivating dance sequences inspired by nine popular films: Rock On!!, Don, Lagaan, Sholay, Dabangg, Mughal-E-Azam, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, RA.One and Krrish.

We will ensure that no talent goes unnoticed and will create a power troop of the best to represent India at the first ever Bollywood-themed park in the World," Sarkari said.
