Indian Dude, your comment is beyond stupid. By saying you hope no one mistakes Hindus and Sikhs as South Asian Muslims, its like you are saying its OK for South Asian Muslims to be attacked following what ISIS did in Paris. Do you know how bigoted and ignorant you sound? Muslims are nothing to do with ISIS, in fact ISIS has killed thousands of Muslims. Please go and educate yourself, otherwise you are as bad as ISIS. To all the people outraged at the fact that a few commenters have mentioned the attacker is Christian, you’re probably shocked because the media will never do this, whereas Muslims are used to the Media ALWAYS mentioning a persons religion when that person is a Muslim who has done something bad. I wouldn’t mind so much if there was some balance, but unfortunately the media is very biased in this respect. Recommend

The very fact that people are calling this guy a Christian (when the majority of the UK aren’t religious) is absurd. He’s more likely to be atheist or agnostic. Luckily, the West don’t see religious violence as ever justifiable.

“Therefore always prepare for the worst. Avoid these stupid dresses and identification marks which are not even Islamic.” — Do you know that that’s exactly the kind of thing women in our society are told? They are told that if they don’t want to be raped they shouldn’t go out of their homes or dress “inappropriately.” You are also using the same logic to blame the victim instead of blaming the perpetrator.Recommend

This happened before the Paris attacks. The fact that she was a Muslim woman may or may not be relevant – the police haven’t revealed information about the man’s motives. It wouldn’t be the first time that a crazy person pushed somebody towards a train. Let’s slow down before calling this an act of religious intolerance.Recommend

How dare you call islamic clothing “a stupid dress”! Unlike men, women can’t pick and choose when to show off their religion and when to hide it, nor do most want to! Those who wear islamic attire, (hijab, abaya, niqab etc) wear it with pride and faith, despite what others think, believe or say. Expecting one to go against their religious practices and change the way they dress so they are not victimised, sounds a lot like terrorism don’t you think!Recommend
