Games: ‘Extra-curricular activities vital for youth development’

The minister gave away trophies to the Punjab Group of Colleges for taking first position by securing 1,936 points

Excise and Taxation Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman said on Friday extra-curricular activities gave the youth confidence to move forward. He was addressing students at the concluding ceremony of 6th Inter-school and Inter-college Games 2015 at Punjab Stadium. The minister gave away trophies to the Punjab Group of Colleges for taking first position by securing 1,936 points, the Government College University for standing second and the Superior College for claiming third position. Among women, a trophy each was given to the Lahore College University for Women bagging first position by securing 1,093 points, the Kinnaird College for standing second by securing 772 points and the Government Girls College, Cantt, for standing third.
