Intelligence Tip: Suspected militant arrested

PESHAWAR: A suspected militant identified as Israr alias Imran was arrested by Banamarhi police on Friday based on an intelligence report. An Afghan national, the accused was currently residing in Shamshatoo Camp in Urmar. “This man was arrested based on the information we received from interrogating Qari Ijaz, another militant currently in our custody,” said a police official. He added they were expecting more information to be revealed through interrogation. Ijaz allegedly belonged to a banned outfit group and was arrested by police officials last week.
