Notification: Absar Alam appointed PEMRA chief
The terms and conditions of his appointment shall be settled separately in terms of Section-9 of Pemra
ISLAMABAD:
The government has notified the appointment of Absar Alam, as chairman of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra). “With the approval of competent authority, Absar Alam, is appointed as Chairman Pemra under Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, in terms of Section-7 (1) of Pemra (Amendment) Act, 2007, with immediate effect and until further orders,” read the notification issued the other day. The terms and conditions of his appointment shall be settled separately in terms of Section-9 of Pemra (Amendment) Act, 2007, the notification said.
