Crippling disease: CDA to launch anti-polio drive on 16th

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Wednesday said it will launch a comprehensive anti-polio campaign in the capital from November 16 to 19. CDA Director Health Services said the date of the campaign was postponed from November 10. During the three-day campaign, he said, as many as 129,000 children will be targeted for immunisation, for which the capital has been divided into 16 zones. Nearly 850 polio workers will administer polio drops during the campaign.
