LAHORE:

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has decided to join hands and work in association with the Planning and Development Department (P&D) of Punjab in an effort to ensure ease of doing business in the province.

They agreed that all hitches delaying execution of new business ventures would be removed through joint efforts.

LCCI Senior Vice President Almas Hyder pointed out that a recent report of the World Bank had revealed that Pakistan had further slipped down in the ease of doing business index, which was not a good omen for the economy. “The economy cannot grow in the presence of internal and external challenges for the business doing people,” P&D Chairman Irfan Elahi said.
