Grenade hurled at school in Shabqadar

Police say hand grenade injured the attackers as it bounced back having hit the school’s wall and exploded

SHABQADAR: Unidentified men hurled on Sunday a hand grenade at a private school in Kangra Shabqadar area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), injuring themselves as the grenade repulsed back.

Police said the hand grenade injured the attackers as it bounced back having hit the school’s wall, and exploded.

The attackers fled the site, leaving their motorcycle behind.

The police have taken the vehicle into their custody, and began a search operation.
