Recover three stolen cars, weapons, narcotics

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police on Saturday arrested at least 15 people in separate cases of robbery, carrying unlicensed weapons, and drug dealing. The police also recovered over two kilogrammes of hashish, 240 grammes of heroin, three pistols and three cars.

Cases against the suspects have been registered in their local police stations.

According to the details, during patrolling the in the Sabzi Mandi area the police arrested a Muhammad Tauseef Khan and recovered one kilogramme of hashish and 240 grams of heroin from him.

Meanwhile, three people — Akramullah, Mehran and Usman — were arrested for stealing a rickshaw.

Working on a tip-off from an arrested suspect, the Aabpara police recovered weapons and ammunition. The Shalimar police station arrested Muhammad for illegally selling diesel. Muneer Iqbal was arrested by the Shahzad Town police for possessing almost two kilogrammes of hashish. Two people — Waseem Akhtar and Basheer Ahmed — were arrested for robbery.

Police from the Lohi Bher police station, while patrolling, arrested Adnan Khan and recovered one bottle of alcohol from him. Working on a tip-off the Tarnol police recovered arms and ammunition.
