The team of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone-starrer Tamasha has nailed it once again with their recent marketing gimmick.

As Deepika took a dig at her co-star's lack of knowledge about how social media works, Ranbir counter-attacked by claiming the latter's viral video to be fake. But all for the sake of promotions.

Ranbir Kapoor clearly has no idea how social media works

This time around, it's all fun and games again as the two actors put their marketing skills to the test.

In a recent attempt to promote Tamasha in an unconventional way, Ranbir, Deepika and director Imtiaz Ali united to discuss their film's innovative marketing plans.

In the video, Deepika can be seen putting forth her marketing strategies whereas Ranbir seems uninterested to his co-star's unimaginative ideas.

The superstar trio got into a tiff when Ranbir discussed his crazy promotional plan saying, "Main Ghar Mein Ghuss Ke Promote Karunga."

And he goes to all lengths to prove his idea is legit, further saying, "Jaisay Sunny Deol Pakistan Jaa Ker Amisha Patel Ko Wapis Laya Tha Sir, Main Ghar Ke Andar Ghuss Ke, Ticket Baich Ke, Bahir Aonga."

It's not me: Ranbir claims Deepika's video was 'fake'

Deepika retaliated by saying he clearly has no idea what on-ground publicity is. "Jo Pub Mein Ja Kar Karte Ho Na, Usse Publicity Nahi Kehte," she said.

All in all, this video had us in fits of laughter and definitely upped the anticipation to a whole new level.
