LAHORE:

Pak China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Shah Faisal Afridi proposed to create a Pak-China Knowledge Corridor for exchange of expert knowledge between the two nations. He observed that the Chinese research and technology could be highly useful in the economic and social development of Pakistan.

Afridi said that shared knowledge in areas of expertise such as industrial goods, services, research and innovation, infrastructure, digital technology and social and cultural studies would uphold the “One Region, One Corridor Strategy” of both countries. He pointed that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) could be regarded as the foundation of this knowledge corridor that would mark the areas in which Pak-China collaboration would be significant.
