FAISALABAD: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has formulated a 25-year-master plan to ensure effective drainage of sewerage and rainwater in the city, Managing Director Syed Zahid Aziz said on Wednesday.  Aziz made the remarks at a meeting with a team of Japanese consultants. The meeting was convened to finalise the plan. The agency has sought the assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in this regard. Aziz said a study of the plan would be completed in a year. He said initiatives outlined in the plan would be completed in five years. Aziz said the Japanese government would find the programme.
