The PTI chairman recently announced to part ways with TV anchor Reham Khan.
While wishing both Imran and Rehman well, Shah said that "a politician is public property" and that "no move of a politician is private. Even his personal life is public."

“Rather than conflicting with the media over personal matters, Imran should take a break and visit a foreign country,” he said while addressing the media in Islamabad.
The advice comes days after the PTI chief split from his wife, Reham Khan, after a short 10-month marriage; which both announced on Twitter last week.
Earlier, in his first public appearance since the highly-publicised divorce, Imran had a few words of advice for the media, saying they should stop prying into the personal lives of public figures.

Meanwhile, commenting on the recent LG polls, Shah said that PTI's popularity is facing a downward trend, along with that of ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
Further, in a meeting between party leaders, he said he advised Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto to come forward and take part in politics through LG polls; however, he refused.
Concluding his address, the opposition leader said, "Governance issues are present in all institutions, be it military or civil, all which were in dire need of improvement.
