omar cheema | 9 years ago | Reply A great example of Western Propaganda against Muslim nations. Here is documentary that presents a group of classical musicians (one of millions in Pakistan) as the only ones in the country involved in Music. This documentary even implies that Military dictators in Pakistan have banned music and as a result there is no Music in Pakistan. Sure it portrays a side of Pakistan rarely seen in the West, but that side is shown against a backdrop of lies, which cater to the Western Narrative that Muslim countries are against cultural expression When American look at this video, they will not be inspired by the music, but by the lie that these musicians are fighting against a society where Music is banned by the government. I request all Pakistanis to boycott this documentary. We dont need people from a lesser musical culture to tell us about what music is. Our musical traditions are far older and far more sophisticated than the West's.
