Heavy rain and hailstorm lashed through scattered areas of Islamabad bringing down the mercury level.
Spellbinding weather: Rain, hailstorm descend on twin cities
"This rain spell will continue for a few days," DG Met Office Ghulam Rasool told The Express Tribune. "As it is the last leg of the prevailing weather system, thunderstorms and hailstorms are expected to continue till Thursday morning," he added.
Further, flights departing from Islamabad airport were delayed owing to the hailstorm, a CAA official said.
