Auction: PHA removes election material

PHA DG said on Monday that five teams had been constituted to remove the material plastered by election candidates

FAISALABAD: The Parks and Horticulture Authority has started removing banners, steamers and flexes plastered in most parts of the city in connection with the local government elections 2015. PHA Director General Yawar Hussain said on Monday that five teams had been constituted to remove the material plastered by election candidates. The teams have removed the material from Jail Road, Bilal Road, Mall Road, Station Road, Abdullah Pur, Jaranwala Raod, Susan Road, Satiana Road, Dijkot Road, Narwala Road, Waris Pura, Madni Chowk and Samundri Road on Sunday night. He said the drive would continue till all the material in the city was removed.
