Uplift: 113 completed in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR:

As many as 113 development schemes at a cost of Rs56.5 million have been completed in Bahawalpur district, DCO Imran Sikandar Baloch said on Monday. He said 253 development schemes had been approved under the District Development Programme for Bahawalpur. The DCO said work on the projects would start soon. He said 183 development schemes costing Rs180 million had been approved under the Community Development Programme 2015-16. He said 15 road construction schemes (56.75km long) had been completed in the first phase of the Rural Roads Programme at a cost of Rs315 million.
