KARACHI: This is with reference to Sadia Qamar’s article “A new ‘Miss Pakistan’ emerges” (April 29). Miss Pakistan held a press conference to announce her nikah with her maternal cousin. What was she hoping for? A high five and a multi-million rupee deal for exclusive rights over her wedding? I don’t see why the media bothers covering these sorts of stories.
